Golf for the Physically Challenged, or simply Challenge Golf, has been running since summer 1991. It was setup as a non-profit community initiative run in close association with Family Golf, Oakville.  Family Golf is now closed permanently.

For the 2014 season, TeeZone, has graciously offered to support us with space.  Without such community support, Challenge Golf, would not be able to offer a stimulating and healthful activity to the physically challenged among us.

Through the first years there were sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday for as many as 20 participants per day. Now the sessions, on Monday between 1:00pm and 2:30pm, have between eight to twelve participants and four to five volunteers per session. During these sessions the participants have access to a selection of golf clubs donated by former participants and volunteers, golf mats from which to drive balls, semi automatic golf ball tees kept full by the volunteers, and refreshments. All this in a friendly, relaxing environment!
